Catherine Fowlkes received her architectural degree from MIT's School of Architecture and Planning where she researched potential for community empowerment through adaptive reuse. She has taught at Northeastern University and before joining Fowlkes Studio worked at Richard Williams Architects. In a previous life, she was a singer-song writer in Nashville, TN.
